New Show, “Salvage.”

Great news! I just got word that two of my pieces were accepted for an upcoming show at the Chandler Center for the Arts titled “Salvage.” The show features work made from found and repurposed materials and asks “how the reimagining of salvaged parts come together in the work.”

Although these works are a departure from the pastel paintings featured on my website, I’ve been working with found objects for many years. My inspirations include both Mexican folk art and North American/Southern folk art, as well as artists working with found objects, such as Ghanaian sculpture El Anatsui.

Mark your calendar to join me for the opening reception on Saturday, January 30 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Randolph, VT.
